Throwback to where it all began (Berwick Market – 2011)

It’s been a few years that we have been enjoying this journey of bamboo plants in Melbourne.

Before thelittlebigbamboo could begin, we needed to know how much Bambusa textilis Gracilis stock we could hold in our greenhouse.

From our humble beginnings, the size of our Bamboo greenhouse would dictate our stock inventory.  As we evolve and grow, we have realised that our Gracilis Bamboo current stock levels and stock replenishment levels are actually based on the management of customer demand and supply management (propagation velocity).

Our standard stock to date includes a few different pot sizes and have successfully introduced bigger size pots.

The 20cm (size C – ONE OF A KIND) is a best seller to date as it’s propagated in such a way that you are guaranteed with thick and strong stems as compared to other 20cm in the marketplace

With time, we successfully introduce our ultimate 30cm pot size is most cost-effective stock, instant screening, highest quality and less risky. We have plenty of them.

Our tip is to buy a bamboo plants in Melbourne with a good root system to minimize the risk of your plant dying! Smaller pot sizes WILL not cope in Melbourne erratic climate with time.

Don’t risk it!

To replenish our stock, mother nature is a big contributor. Spring and summer are generally the best time to propagate.

More importantly, we ensure that our root system and overall plant foliage is at the highest possible grade.
